VIN’O Tscheppe Czamillonberg Sauvignon Blanc 2003

This is another bottle from our Austrian Flight and one that suprised me. Its a Sauvignon Blanc from the southern Styrian region of Austria. It possesses excellent colour, not too light and just enough of a straw hue to glisten in the light. Flavorwise it was tight on first taste but opened within the next 15 minutes. It had hints of green apple with plenty of mineral and acidity. It comes in at 13% but tasted much hotter. Its very clean and my only complaint would be the alcohol level. I am interested to see how this holds up and will take another tasting tomorrow.
