iPhone Competition?

Samsung the company who seldom have their own ideas and do a bang up job ripping off others and lowering the price has a new phone in the works to compete against the iPhone. This one is the Samsung SGH-P520 but all we have is this photo, no look at the OS. Could it run Windows Mobile, we will have to wait and see. It does contain a 3 megapixel camera, decent screen but no 3G, just the Edge network support. From what I have read, the 3G sucks a ton of battery power and this was the reason Apple didn't include it in the 1st phone. They wanted to avoid bad battery reviews but come November the rumor mill is predicting 3G support. It may be a software upgrade for the previous phones since that would suck if all the existing users are obsolete only after 5 months.
Anyways, keep your eyes peeled for the new Samsung to hit the market this fall.
