Ney to plead guilty today, may resign.
Rep. Bob Ney (R-OH) “is to enter a guilty plea today to two felony charges that could send him to prison for up to 10 years,” the AP reports. Ney may announce his decision to resign from Congress in front of the judge “because that would represent acceptance of responsibility for his crimes, a critical issue with regard to the length of his prison term.”

Another republican scumbag caught up in the Abramoff scandal is finally facing the music although he will probably only get 27 months in jail. Ney was part of the infamous Golfing vacation to Scotland with Tom Delay. Next on the list is Conrad Burns of Montana.
