Angel's Cafe

Tonight Erika and I went to Angel's Cafe down in Ferndale for dinner and it was amazing. We hadn't been in a couple years but the food was great, if you have never been you need to check it out. If you go give yourself enough time since everything is freshly made and takes a while to cook. The restaurant has some really cool artwork on the walls and it has a nice cozy feeling inside. The owner/chef/waiter tonight filled us in on his plans for the restaurant. He has recently turned his meals into small and large plates and plans on incorporating more small plates for a bigger variety and cheaper dining. I had the blackened salmon with veggies and roasted potatoes and Erika had tomato and garlic chicken. I had a ceaser salad to start out with and you could tell the dressing was homemade, I have never had anything like it before. Angel's is down on 9 Mile next to Starving Artists and down the street from BW3s that just opened.
