No Spice....

Oh the travesty, what will we do now? The Spice Girls have been bumped from the Live 8 concert due to their non serious/political message. Only real musicians need apply. Now I understand and agree with this, it still sucks for the girls who need a royality kick start and this would help big time. Oh well, it was a fun few days thinking of a reunion and seeing posh spice up on stage again. Instead we have Dave Matthews who sings about eating too much, drinking too much, Robbie Williams who rips his skin off in a rollerskating rink and Eminem who sings about killing, well everyone. Oasis on the other hand are in discussions to play the Who's "My Generation", Sting "Every Breath You Take" and Paul McCartney to sing, what a suprise a Beatles song.
Getting back to the "Serious" musicians, I just scanned the article and saw a few more names that fit this label. We have Outkast, Destiny's Child and Linkin Park which I find funny seeing that Destiny's Child are pretty much in the same vein as the Spice Girls. I tell ya, no love for Posh, this is what its all about, she is getting the shaft for some unknown reason. I plan on getting to the bottom of this, its not fair that Posh doesn't get her chance back in the spotlight.
