St Stans Festival

Yesterday we headed down to Wyandotte for the annual St Stans Polish Festival for some cheap beer and perogies. All summer long there are Polish Church festivals full of food, polka music, games and gambling scattered through downriver (area south of Detroit). Usually we will pick up a bag of frozen perogies to take back with us but this year the perogies were off a bit. They were not as good as previous years and I am not sure if it was just the batch we had ours from or if all were suffering the same fate.

In a few minutes I will be heading outside to start the roto-tilling and planting of the garden and annual flowerbeds. I will post some photos once we are done.

Well if Chris bought some to take home, we must be wrong...

Sorry Kath, they were not as good as previous years, something about the dough didn't taste right. And like I said it could have been the batch but it was enough to keep us for buying any of them. Now did u buy any to take home??????

    If not, why?
