All you pc users be very careful, there is a new worm out there that will delete all mp3 files from your computer. Before you get all freaked out, just understand the basics of protecting yourself and DO NOT open any emails that you do not recognize. Even if the email says its an eCard from your mom, just delete it. DO NOT CLICK ON POPUP ADVERTISING, always close the box at the X in the corner otherwise you are acknowledging the popup and the infection. Stay away from file sharing sites and you should be fine. Worms will not destroy your pc but this one will put you into a world of hurt. Another reason why you should have all your files, mp3s, photos etc backed up on physical media like DVDs. Even if you have your files stored on an external drive, if it is connected to your pc when infected, poof, they are gone as well....

If you are still freaked out, go out and buy a mac. They are not virus proof but tend to be more secure since the hackers are not interested in exploiting the OS.
