Attorney General Alberto Gonzales testifies in front of Congress today regarding the firing of US attorneys. Its going to be a doozy and I am not sure if he will survive. People from both sides have demanded his resignation and lets hope we have it by the end of the week. If so then we are down to Bush, Cheney, Condi and Rove. The inner circle is closing more and more, I wonder if it will stay intact until the end of Bush's presidency. Alberto brought this upon himself, by be so loyal to Bush he helped rewrite the Geneva Convention to allow torture, twisted the law to allow domestic spying and inserted political appointees throughout the Justice dept.
