Mount St. Helens

Looks like Mount St. Helens has started smoking again. Just a few years ago it started back up but went back to sleep. Lets hope this happens again, we don't need another natural disaster within the US. We are still recovering from Katrina and the current leadership in office would no doubt screw this one up also.
On the scientific side, this is fascinating since we are dealing with the "Ring Of Fire" and the possibilities for geological change are great. I just watched a special the other nite on volcanos, the earth's core, plate techtonics, the ocean currents, the merging and breaking up of the continents etc. Erika was bored out of her mind but I loved it.
