Head On A Spike

The Bluetones just released the single "Head On A Spike" and you can find it on eMusic. The single is the same song from the cd and is only ok. Its the Bluetones trying to moderize their sound and ride the post punk wave. The 2nd track "Untitled #6" is an instrumental that sounds like a leftover track from the mid 90s. Its great but too bad its only 2:46 in length, it could really have been something. Track 3 "Surrendered" is an acoustic version and worth the download. Its a beautiful song to start with and the stripped down version gets your toe tapping and head bobbing. Had it been the mid 90s when digital downloads were unheard of, I would have been disappointed spending at least $10 on this. For the price of .75 cents on eMusic, I don't mind and it will be added to my collection.
