Republicans Still Don't Get It

“I hurt more than anyone could imagine and without my faith your constant cruelty would destroy me,” he wrote. Cunningham cited his religious faith again when he wrote, “The Lord's Prayer forgive me my debts as I would forgive. My first sin each night is the failure to forgive the United Tribune. Not just coverage but the brutal two and three pages each week that has nearly destroyed me and my family.” He warned that the “truth will come out and you will find out how liablest [libelous] you have & will be.” He also complained that Stern and other Copley reporters “only want to write about how I died not how I lived.” And he rattled off a long list of honors he said he earned as a congressman – “Education Man of the Year, Impact Aide Man of the Year, Library Man of the Year,” among others. 
Poor weepy eyes Duke Cunningham is pissed off at the local paper that exposed his bribery scandal. He is upset that they tormented him with the truth of his lies and how if it were not for religion he would be dead. It really amazes me the level these crooks will stoop to try and get us to feel sorry for them. Hey Duke u ripped off the govt to the tune of millions, abused your power as a congressmen and put this country at risk. I'm not about to forgive you, so go back to your cell and shut the hell up. You are a pathetic piece of trash that deserves to rot in jail. I guess the Dukester didn't see all the coverage his party just received over Foleygate because any sane person would have stayed quiet. That's the Republican party for you, always blame others because it could never be your own fault.
