Erika's father has an amazing garden at his house which is about an acre in size. There are a ton of different vegetables growing and Jeff gave us bags of corn, green beans, beets and lettuce this past weekend. Erika froze the beans already and tonight was corn nite. Yesterday we shucked all the ears and tonight boiled and cut off the kernels. It was messy but in the end we had 8 bags of organic corn ready to freeze. There were a total of 55 ears and each bag has between 2.5 and 3 cups of corn. This beats Trader Joes or Meijer any day.
