Well Rummy has struck out on EVERY reason for the war in Iraq, there were no WMDs and no connection to Al Qaeda so now it time to move the goal posts yet again. Now the new tag line is high gas prices, if Saddam was still in power he would reap in billions and develop a nuclear bomb. Instead our big oil companies took the money and did nothing to help the country ween itself off of the black gold. Give it up Rummy, you have no revelance anymore. You have proven your incomptence over and over, its time to move on.

SECRETARY RUMSFELD: The fact of the matter is - if Saddam Hussein were still in power in Iraq, he would be rolling in petrol dollars. Think of the price of oil today. He would have so much money. And he would be seeing the Iranians interested in a nuclear program, he would be seeing the North Koreans developing a nuclear program, and he’d say well why shouldn’t he - and he would. So we’re fortunate that he’s gone.
