Princess Cruise Day 4
Wednesday, August 23, 2006
Today we were in Glasgow for the day. It was about a 35-40 minute bus ride into the city. We arrived at the George Square, a spot in the center of the city. Glasgow is a lot like Dublin, a number of the buildings are Georgian in design and there is a large walking mall. We strolled around the city but didn't buy anything, there wasn't much other than whiskey we havn't seen already. Due to our flight carry on restrictions I didn't want to pack any bottles so no whiskey for me. We did eat fish'n'chips at a pub and I enjoyed a Tennet lager but that's all. We are off soon to Bergen, Norway we have a sailing day tomorrow and arrive on Friday. Glasgow was a cool city but there was more to see and do in Dublin.
