Could It Happen?

Iraq war supporter and part time Bush lapdog, Joe Lieberman will face his toughest political battle ever, a primary challenger who is leading him in the latest polls. Ned Lamont is running to replace Joe on the Democratic ticket for Senator of Connecticut. Lamont has ran a great campaign, he has targeted all the small towns around the state Joe has ignored for years. Along with the anti war stance, Lamont has tapped a deep hatred for Joe and exploited it. Joe has taken his seat for granted and now its time to face the music. I am not sure if Joe will survive tomorrow, he has said that if he is defeated he would run as an Independent.
Besides the netroots support, Lamont has captured the pulse of the nation and this could be the straw that broke the camel's back. If Ned wins tomorrow you will see a lot more politicans coming out against the war. You will also see Rove scramble to put together an October suprise with a reduction of troops and claiming that the job is done. Lets hope Dems don't let them spin this in their favor, they destroyed a country which is now in a the middle of a civil war. Our troops are caught in the middle and Iraq will have to be broken into 3 separate areas to stop the violence.
