Yesterday Apple released its 17 inch macbook pro, its only $2800. Tack on applecase and u are at 3 grand. Yes its a great laptop but I think the pricetag is a bit high. Apple is phasing out the ibook and replacing them with the macbook, for those of you looking for a new laptop these should be perfect for you. They will be on the intel chip, not sure if they will be duo core or not, no specs are out on them. I think they will be out in the next couple months, just in time for the back to school rush.
As rumored, Apple announced the 17" MacBook Pro today at the NAB conference.
