South Park vs Scientology

"South Park" has declared war on Scientology. Matt Stone and Trey Parker, creators of the animated satire, are digging in against the celebrity-endorsed religion after a controversial episode mocking outspoken Scientologist Tom Cruise was yanked abruptly from the schedule Wednesday — with Internet rumors it was covert warfare by Cruise that led to its departure.

"So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun!" the "South Park" creators said in a statement Friday in Daily Variety. "Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies... You have obsructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail!"

When will people learn that you do not piss off comedians, this is the worst thing a person can do, comedians will lampoon you night and day and there is no excaping. You can go to battle against anyone else and come away in decent shape but against the world of comedy, you're done. Issaac Hayes this week bowed out of South Park siting religous intolerance which is BS, it was because South Park exposed Scientology. Issac had no problem making fun of every other religion, ethnic group, stereotype but when it came to his own he draws the line and shouts intolerance. That is one of the reasons I love South Park they never single out any one type of person, they equally make fun of everyone. Over the last 10 years I cannot think of one person who hasn't been in the crosshairs. The same goes for the Simpsons, there is no discrimination here everyone is lampooned.

Tom, John and Issac better be ready for a battle because this war is far from over. With more people considering Tom Cruise the new Michael Jackson, I am putting my money down on South Park.
