Free Coffee

I was listening to Rachel Maddow this morning and she gave me this great tip on some free coffee. From 10am-12pm EST Starbucks will be giving out free coffee for their promotional Coffee Break with Starbucks campaign. It may have to do with McDonald's introduction of premium coffee but I am not one to turn down a free cup.
I checked the Starbucks website but there was nothing promoting the campaign so it makes me wonder how true it really is. I have one across the street so I am going to run over there in about an hr and a half and will let you know what I find out.
I go back and forth between Starbucks and Caribou Coffee beans. Target usually sells Starbucks pretty cheap but I have been addicted to the Caribou the last couple months. I just got a pound of the Discovery the other day and its amazing. I like the layout of Caribou better than Starbucks, some of the shops have a total mountain cabin feeling going on.

Discovery Blend
This proprietary blend of premium beans from the highlands of East Africa and the highest peaks of Central America is craft-roasted to mellow its bright acidity, developing the soft, rich, and luxurious flavors buried within these rare beans. This premium coffee — Caribou's first new blend since 1999 — will appeal to fans of both our Darker and Lighter roasts. Flavors of citrus and blackberries that are normally found only in our lightest roast have been deepened to make a more subtle and silky cup, more commonly found in a darker roast. Roasted to its peak flavor — the darkest of our lighter roast — Discovery Blend will satisfy even the most discriminating palate.
