Well its happening again, the death of Woxy. 1st they lost their physical presence on the dial and airwaves and closed up shop. A few months later they re-appeared as a web only station. Now with little to no advertising they are forced to charge a monthy fee of $9.95 to listen. For those who don't want to pay, they will continue to stream but at a lower bitrate which will mean decreased quality of sound. I love my woxy but i don't want to pay that much a month for access, I would definitely sign up for $5 a month but $10 is a bit steep. I tell ya, this sucks since woxy vintage is the best thing going on the internet. Maybe I should suggest a discounted price for that part of it and I would do that and skip regular woxy. Last time this happened everyone switched to KEXP out of Seattle which is good but not as good as Woxy. So we have another week of music before the payment plan and lower quality starts. Listen up, it may be the last time u head good music on the internet for a long time.
