Is Bush the Worst Ever?

Richard Reeves: "I have talked with three significant historians in the past few months who would not say it in public, but who are saying privately that Bush will be remembered as the worst of the presidents."Earlier: An informal, unscientific survey of 415 historians conducted by the History News Network found that 338 rate the Bush presidency "an overall failure." Meanwhile, 12% of historians who responded "rate the current presidency the worst in all of American history."

Let me be on the record to say that Bush is one of the worst presidents ever, the Iraq quagmire, the Medicare boondoggle, the tax cuts that benefit the wealthy, the bloated budgets with more pork than Chicken Shack, FEMA and Katrina. Bush has put this country into debt, made us less safe and drove a wedge between the population, how can this be considered progress?
