Ferns, Hostas & Grass

We went to English Gardens to pick up some fresh basil and $78 later walked out with 6 hostas, 3 long grass, 3 ferns and 6 other herbs. Gotta love English Gardens and their sales. We planted everything but the herbs in the back under the tree where we just roto tilled the other week. This has become my mission, to create a controlled jungle in the back. Next weekend is the flower show at Eastern Market and I think we are going to head down to see what is available. We still need more greens for the back, the space is pretty big and there are lots of bare spots.
I also spent 2 hrs pulling weeds and dandilions all over the yard, grass still looks bad compared to the neighbors but at least its weed free. Tomorrow will be cutting the grass, running the edger and possibly trimming the hedges. Once things start to grow, I will post some pics.
