Update: Gannongate

Gannongate becomes more interesting by the hour, the latest revelations are that Scott McClellan and Gannon are more than friends and that is how Gannon gained access to the WH press pool. All the bloggers are running wild with this tantlizing info, but the scary part of it all is that Gannon may have been the person who outed Valerie Plume the undercover CIA agent a couple years ago. Novak will not give up his source but if this turns out to be Gannon, this connection is one step away from the president. McClellan denies knowing that Gannon is a fake name but the 2 are connected back in the day.

Bloggers have come under attack for jumping the gun and not real journalists, just people sitting around in their pajamas writing conspiracy theories. But when you look at who is breaking stories and fact finding, its the bloggers, Big Media needs to wake up to this and start reporting the news for real, not for ratings.
