Now this is classic, get Kid Rock to perform for your daughter's and piss off your conservative base. Lets see what Bush will do, appease his base or put family first, my bet is on the base. Last year Kid Rock performed at the superbowl while wearing a flag but Janet seemed to get in the most trouble. I am hoping he plays and the conservatives and their false values protest the show, that would be a sight to see. Hey the conservatives want the south and the common man, but with that comes the booze and sex. Not sure how that fits into their grand plan. They can have Kid Rock tho, I would rather have Eminem on my side.

Conservative Christians are flabbergasted about reports that raunchy rock-rapper Kid Rock will perform at a youth concert at the presidential inauguration. "What in the world are these people thinking?" asked Donald Wildmon, chairman of the American Family Association in Tupelo, Miss. "This is the biggest slap in the face to the Christian conservatives." Kid Rock reportedly will perform at "America Rocks Today: A Call to Service," a multimedia concert.

Ann Coulter loves the Kid, so it shouldn't turn out to be a problem.

Kid Rock Rapped
"Inauguration planners seemed to be backpedaling yesterday" about a possible Kid Rock appearance at an inaugural event, the New York Daily News reports. Said a spokesperson: "Kid Rock has not been confirmed."

The problem? "The almost-34-year-old Detroit bad boy is currently dating porn actress Jessie James, never goes anywhere without a pint of bourbon in his back pocket and rattles off X-rated lyrics that regularly earn his albums parental advisory warnings."
