Dashe Cellars Dry Creek Zinfandel 2005

All I can say is WOW, this Zin rocks. This Zin is on par with my favorite "The Monster" from Norman Estates. The nose is fresh with ripe berry and upon drinking, the black cherry and spice linger on your tongue. The finish is long and complex with hints of heat that fill the back of your mouth. Unlike the Monster that surpasses 15%, this one comes in at 14.5% which still allows the fruit to shine. This is not a cheap Zin either, at $24 it's a higher end bottle that is worthy of the price. This is one that I would buy again and not think twice about.
