iTunes Plus

Here's the skinny on the iTunes Plus, its DRM free digital music that you can do whatever you want with. Now here's the catch, its only the EMI label and it costs more than regular songs via iTunes. You will be paying $1.29 a song or $11.99 a cd with no restrictions. If you have bought previous songs thru iTunes which are on the EMI label you can upgrade your old DRM songs for a price. .30 cents or $3.00 max for a cd to upgrade. Yeah its cool that you don't have to purchase all your music all over again but I think the upgrade price is a bit out of line. Welcome to the new iTunes and by next year I expect more labels to be onboard. BTW, the songs are encoded at a 256 bitrate (very good quality) and are in AAC format. The AAC is still MP3 just Apple's version. If you want to convert the AAC to MP3 its really easy to do in iTunes.
