Chief Of Staff Andy Card Resigns.......

Bush's chief of staff Andy Card resigned today and the conspiracy theories are already flying. Below is a comment off of Raw Story regarding the resignation. Some of it makes sense, Andy could be trying to protect the president since he may get roped up in the Valerie Plame outing. With Rove helping out Fitz, Andy may be caught in the middle and face obstruction of justice charges. Or it could be that Andy is just tired and wants out. I like the Fitz scenerio better, it makes for a good scandal. Andy may be making a run for MA governer which could explain his early exit from the WH so that is anothe possible scenerio.

Conservative pundits and politicans have been calling for changes but the retiring Card is being replaced with Joshua Bolton, another insider who just happened to be Card's deputy. This isn't the type of changes that need to be made but if Bush wants to do so, well then its his administration that is ready to implode.

All Out War INSIDE The White House ....
Anyone who thinks for even a moment that Card's resignation at this time is just a coincidence is mistaken. Clearly, the "gloves are off" as Rove attempts to scapegoat Cheney/Libby and protect himself and Bush. Card was obviously a major player in the White House Iraq Group, and that group is in the crosshairs of Fitzgerald. Rove knows Cheney/Libby must take the hit if he is to avoid indictment and imprisonment --and one thing is true, Rove is like a hit man, he will do whatever it takes. In the days to come we will know the end is near if Card begins cooperating with Fitzgerald ...then the real dirty laundry will be aired nailing Bush/Rove. I still say an "insider" will bring down the house of cards at the WH.
