OK this is probably a fake but just imagine of Apple did come out with something as cool as this. This is the new video ipod that all of us would like Apple to make. It is all screen and the scroll pad is is virtual, not physical like they currently are. If this were the case, the whole player could become a screen for viewing video. If you pay close attention to the last ipod, it wasn't billed as the video ipod, it was an ipod with video. Steve Jobs was waiting to use the "video" term with his next generation. The rumors are strong, Apple's 30th anniversary is this year in April and sometime in February there is another press conference. I don't expect a new ipod til later this year but the possibilities are endless, video and bluetooth for starters. So there you have it, a glimpse at what people want the ipod to be and most likely what it isnt.

Btw, they are dropping the shuffle line and introduced a 1 gig nano for $149, this will pretty much kill the rest of the mp3 players market. Apple is also on track to break 1 billion downloads and the current number is 966,925,900. If you check out apple.com you can see the ticker scrolling and by the time I publish this post it will probably be close to the 997,000,000 mark.
