SLVR

Motorola released the new SLVR exclusively thru Cingular, its another great phone if u are in the market for one. Think of it as a slim line RAZR without the flip. It has the etched keys and all the features of the RAZR plus iTunes. You are stuck with the 100 song limit so its not ipod killer but for those who need music on their phone it will work. Battery life is the problem, 6 hr talk time but when you listen to music how much is sucked up then? I don't think we will have a good mp3/phone device until Apple gets in the market and designs one. Until then, we will have to live the life double fisted with our cell in one hand and our ipod in the other.

The phone features iTunes software with 100 song capacity, built-in stereo speakers, integrated hands-free speakerphone, 262,000 "vivid color" TFT display, illuminated etched keypad, VGA camera with 4x digital zoom, and video capture and playback.

Each SLVR L7 also comes with extra ring-tones, Java support for games and applications, AOL/Yahoo!/ICQ instant messaging and Bluetooth connectivity.

According to Motorola, the phone measures 4.5 inches tall by 1.9 inches wide by .45 inches thick and weighs just 3.5 ounces. It features talk time of "up to 6 hours" and standby time of "up to 17 days."
