For about $2000 you can make your own wine and you can choose from either a barrel or a steel cask. These will be available this spring/summer according to the website. I am not sure if I really want to make my own wine, thats a lot of wine to drink if it turns out like crap. It gets boring drinking the same stuff even if its good. I like to mix it up and try different varitals and vineyards. Maybe when the price gets down to a few hundred bucks it might be fun to have but at this point, only yuppies with a large disposible income can afford.
