Jacksonville City Nights

Yep Ryan Adams is back, he just released Jacksonville City Nights yesterday and Pitchfork is on board giving it a 7.7 out of a 10. I wasn't expecting Pitchfork to be so nice, they all love Ryan but love to bash him also, its part of the whole pretentious indie rock they hold so dear. This cd is amazing, more country than Cold Roses, so if you are afraid of the steel pedal stay away you will not enjoy this cd. The 1st song starts out and ends abruptly, you think something is wrong but it starts again and plays all the way thru. It gives you the sense that they are recording live and you are sitting there in the studio listening to them. And if this isn't enough for you, rumor has it there will be a 3rd Ryan Adams cd by the end of the year.
