For all you iTunes users, there is a new version 4.8 available for download, go to www.itunes.com for it. The new version uses iTunes to sync the ipod calendar/contacts instead of isync and there is a new feature that allows quicktime movies to play in iTunes. Now there will be a ton of speculation as to why you can view movies within iTunes, does this mean that an upcoming ipod will feature video playback? Or is it just another way to bundle all media into 1 program.

I think the next round of ipods will feature the 1 gig shuffle down to $99 and possibly a color screen for the $299 model and maybe an increase in hard drive. It would be nice if they offer the 30 gig ipod photo as the $299 benchmark and then drop the 60 gig down to $399 and come out with an 80 gig. Am I dreaming, probably but most of the ipod rumor sites talk about something coming down this june/july.

For those of you with a bit of a disposible income, there is a new adapter on the market, bluetooth headphones. On ipodlounge you can see them, there is an adapter for the ipod and then the headphones. This is pretty cool except for the price, $169, maybe if it was $40 or $50 max then I would consider.

I also found some pretty crazy ipod cases, they glow in the dark, have screen protectors and look like those lifesavers cream candies.
